FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How long can Pigeon PP bottles last?
We recommend replacing PP bottles every 6-9 months, considering how many bottles you have in rotation.
What size bottle do you give a newborn?
For newborns on formula it's best to start with smaller baby bottles, such as this 120ml bottle. They're perfect for the small amounts of formula newborns eat in one sitting. Soon you'll shift to a bottle and teat suitable for a 4 month old, or whenever your baby's appetite makes a bigger bottle more practical.
Smaller bottles don't contain as much space, which lowers the amount of air a newborn might ingest in a sitting, which can help reduce colic.
Which teats is this bottle compatible with?
This Pigeon slim neck bottle is compatible with Pigeon Flexible Peristaltic teats.
Which baby bottle is best for a newborn?
If you plan on feeding your newborn formula use the Pigeon Flexible Range of baby bottles.
If you plan on expressing and feeding your newborn breastmilk using a bottle use the Pigeon SofTouch Range of baby bottles.
For formula fed newborns we recommend using small bottles such as this 120ml Flexible bottle or if using breastmilk a 160ml SoftTouch bottle.
